It's 2007, and if you're using some freesite crap or if you don't have a fun, informative and interactive website, you're missing REVENUE and BORING your listeners, regardless of format!
I'm a web guy by trade, but working for a busy "start-up" station, you have so many OTHER things to worry about getting your name on the street that you don't really have the time to sit down and create from SCRATCH the type of dynamic web presence that it takes in the competitive radio world. SURE I could build this site...but DAMN it woulda taken 2 months!
I've worked with companies before in my radio career that were very bland, no personality..very obvious that they thought they were doing YOU the favor, and you weren't the customer but an inconvenience. Then you get this site that looks just like you competitors, and if you need something done it's like pulling teeth.
Not so with WebWise. From my first contact with Lily in Sales, to Jackie and the rest on the technical side, it's EASY and FUN.
I was so scared that I was getting some generic cookie cutter "look-alike" stuff, but their design team makes it EASY! You just say what you want, and it's like you're sitting next to them.
Once we were up and running, the tutorial was a BREEZE and NOW I have a completely BAD ASS website, completely interactive that I can update FROM AN EVENT using my phone, or laptop regardless of where I am, I have total and complete control of the content.
I'm a biker, and am pretty deep in the local biker community. I can have pictures up on the site BEFORE everyone gets home from whatever event we were just at....THAT'S pretty cool....
The site is everything I wanted, and more.

Before WebWise, this is how it worked for us – I would send an email with updates to our “web guy,” and he would get them up, when he got around to it. Now, I take care of the updates myself, and they’re up immediately! A radio station needs to be able to update content immediately. The back end tools make doing so incredibly easy. Great service, great value!
